Webspider - A development tool for webMethods

WebSpider is a webMethods 6.* compatible search tool which allows:

  • Searches for names and objects across multiple webMethods packages finding references for fields both in documents and pipelines.
  • Compilation of flows and packages, finding references to unresolved or missing services and documents
  • Saving results of queries to a file
  • Transactional search and replace functionality (no more sed or Perl scripts!)
  • Automatic persistence, so you can restore your work on restart

WebSpider is written in java, and freely available for non-commercial use. It has been tested on Windows, Linux and AIX so far and it should work on other Unix variants.

This tool was developed for fellow webMethods developers and consultants like ourselves.
